I have always been drawn to creating - sculpture, painting, jewelry or meaningful objects. Throughout my career as a counselor, an art teacher, a public relations director and a museum founder, I’ve always found a way to create and pursue my artistic vision.
I began experimenting, designing and fabricating in silver more than thirty years ago. The qualities, shapes and textures of metal, stones or natural elements inform my design. Sometimes I sketch; often the design emerges from my imagination or evolves as I work. It’s the challenge of bringing my ideas to reality that keeps me interested in the process.
Each of my jewelry creations is unique, although I may follow themes or create a series of objects inspired by a similar concept. I also consider commission requests.
